Ok, in the 60's I watched the original run of the Monkees...the silliest, the stupidest, and one of the most fun shows to watch! Though I never thought that any of the guys touted in teen magazines as dating material...that being said I enjoyed watching both Davy Jones and Mickey Dolentz and their shenanigans. They did a good job with the songs written by others(one of their most popular...I'm A Believer was written by the music icon Neil Diamond) and my adolescent life was certainly colored by their music. I even have two of their albums(I actually won one...but that's another story). So, sorry to see him go so soon...and hope he's having a good time on the other side...and maybe causing a little mischief!

I remember that episode too! I was sad when I heard the news about him yesterday.
